Are you daydreaming about serving with Nelson on the HMS Victory? Here is the lantern you need to get closer to the dream. This large hanging candle lantern is a close interpretation of the ship lanterns hanging on board the HMS Victory in Portsmouth, England. I worked from images and measurements provided by the museum.

· 20” tall and 7.5” in diameter

The panes are a mica composite product that simulates horn panes. The finish is intended to look like a lantern that has been used and repainted a few times, with brush marks and blemishes.

Each lantern is made one at a time, and there WILL be slight differences in finish and construction for each lantern.
