Do you need to see where you are going but love a punched tin lantern? Well, here is the best of both worlds in one lantern. The pierced tin pattern looks great lit up, while the weathered glass door panel helps you see where you are going.

 This lantern is patterned from photos and artwork depicting a similar antique lantern. The lantern is undated, but I would place it anywhere between the late 17th and mid-19th centuries. The pierced-tin decoration is a simple geometric pattern typical of the period.

 Each lantern is made by hand, and there will be variations in the punched-tin design, the antiquing, and the glass pattern.
