  1. Effective 31 October 1945 the units listed below are inactivated pursuant to authority in letter indicated:

    3.    Disposition of personnel rendered surplus by the above action will be directed on TWX R1P584 this headquarters to 98th Replacement Battalion dated 20 October 1945 and TWX R1P 537 this headquarters to 54th Replacement Battalion dated 20 October 1945.

     

    4.   Equipment rendered surplus by above action will be turned in to the nearest appropriate supply depot.  Disposition of property records will be as prescribed in Section I, Circular Number 78, European Theater of Operations, 9 June 1945.

     

  1. Final Rosters required by AR 345-90, 21 September 1941 for inactivated units, and final morning reports required by AR 345-400, 4 January 1945, will be submitted to the Commanding Officer, 29th Machine Records Units, APO 887, United States Army, without delay.

     

  2. The records of inactivated units listed above will be disposed of in accordance with provisions of Circular Number 60, Headquarters, European Theater of Operations, 16 May 1945, and Annex X, SPO Number 61, Headquarters, United States Forces, European Theater, 4 September 1945. Report of action taken will be forwarded through this headquarters to Chief, Adjutant General Inactive Records Branch, APO 562, United States Army, together with the inventories and receipts required by paragraphs 6c (3) and (4) of Circular Number 60, Headquarters, European Theater of Operations, 16 May 1945.  Such report will indicate date of shipment, number of containers, and specific agency to which records were delivered for shipment.
