Rustic Furniture Gallery
I began building rustic furniture in 1992 after years of tinkering with general woodworking and selling pine furniture at a few craft shows. The rustic really took off and Shelley and I spent the next dozen years selling my furniture. We started with local and regional retail craft shows, then moved on to national level wholesale trade shows. Eventually that ran its course and now I spend most of my time doing other types of tramp and folk art. I occasionally build some rustic furniture when the right project, or an irresistable pile of wood comes along.
Here is a sampling of past rustic creations. Please contact me if you are interested in having me make you something.
If you are intersested in making rustic furniture I reccomend that you purchase Dan Mack’s books. They are a wealth of information on the thought process and techniques of creating in the rustic style.
